Priority crypto-card review

Ether.fi Cash

How its spending modes, rewards and card economics fit together—and what to verify before applying.

Galeora priority coverage

A crypto card with two very different ways to spend.

Ether.fi Cash can use eligible stable-value assets directly or borrow against collateral. That flexibility is the product’s main distinction—and the reason its costs and risks need to be understood before the rewards.

01 · How spending works

Direct Pay

Published documentation says purchases can draw from eligible USDC or LiquidUSD balances without borrowing interest. Crypto is converted at the point of sale.

02 · Alternative mode

Borrow against collateral

Borrow mode keeps supported assets in the vault while funding purchases with a loan. Interest and collateral-management risks apply.

03 · EUR spending

0% provider FX markup in beta

The dedicated EUR page publishes zero added markup when a merchant charges in EUR. A broader fee page describes a base conversion rate and tier margins for other currency conversions, so check the live quote.

04 · Everyday rewards

3% eligible cashback

Core, Luxe and Pinnacle publish 3% inside their first monthly spend bands; VIP publishes 4%. Currency-specific caps, progressive step-down rates, exclusions and ETHFI price exposure apply.

05 · Membership points

Unlock higher levels

Cash spend currently earns 1,000 points per $1,000. Luxe requires 5,000 monthly points and Pinnacle 25,000; points reset monthly and other qualifying routes are available.

06 · Selected subscriptions

10–30% category boost

Luxe, Pinnacle and VIP publish 10%, 20% and 30% on named services in one selected category, capped at $10, $20 and $30 per month. This is not a general spending rate.

Decision risks

What to check before applying

  • Availability and KYC. Card access, membership and product terms depend on region and identity verification.
  • Borrow mode is credit. Interest, collateral health and potential liquidation need separate analysis from ordinary card spending.
  • Cashback is conditional. Eligibility exclusions, monthly thresholds, a seven-day lock and a minimum claim amount can reduce practical value.
  • Token-denominated rewards fluctuate. Cashback credited in ETHFI can change value after it is earned.
